Cluely's Bold Manifesto Sparks Debate: Is "Cheating" With AI the Future?

Cluely is a startup building real-time AI tools that watch your screen, listen to your audio, and feed you instant answers during tasks like sales calls, meetings, and negotiations. Their newly launched manifesto openly champions the idea that "cheating" with AI is not only acceptable—it’s the new competitive advantage.

Snapshot:

  • Cluely’s AI acts as an always-on assistant, seeing, hearing, and guiding users live, helping them win faster during everyday work.

  • The manifesto argues that just like calculators or Google were once controversial but later normalized, AI-guided "cheating" will soon become the new normal.

  • However, it leaves open the question: if effort is no longer rewarded, what happens to skills like critical thinking and independent problem solving?

What is the underlying point:
There’s a thin line between using tools to become smarter and letting tools think for you. Cluely’s view makes sense: every major leap in tech once looked like cheating before it became second nature. But at what cost? If AI fills in all our blanks in real-time, will we stop growing the muscle it takes to struggle, figure things out, and learn? Or maybe the real skill now is knowing how to ask the right question at the right time, not memorizing answers. What do you think?

đŸ”” Should using AI for real-time "cheating" be normalized?

đŸ’Œ Automate LinkedIn Job Scraping with n8n + Bright Data (No Code!)

Looking to keep track of fresh job postings from LinkedIn — either to find a new role or spot hiring signals for sales outreach?
This setup connects Bright Data and n8n to pull recent listings into a Google Sheet automatically.

🧠 What’s n8n?
n8n is a no-code automation tool that lets you build workflows between your apps — like APIs, spreadsheets, and webhooks — all using drag-and-drop.

🌐 What’s Bright Data?
Bright Data is a platform that gives you access to real-time web data, including LinkedIn job listings via their Dataset API.

✅ No coding skills needed — everything is visual.
⏱ Setup time: ~10 minutes.

Step-by-step:

  1. Make a copy of the Google Sheet Template

  2. Open the pre-built n8n workflow

  3. Fill out the input form

    • Define the kind of job posts you want:

      • Location (e.g., Remote, San Francisco)

      • Keyword (e.g., Data Analyst, Growth Lead)

      • Country Code (e.g., US, UK)

    • Set Time Range to “Past 7 days” for freshest data.

  4. Trigger the data pull from Bright Data

    • The workflow sends a request to Bright Data’s API to grab listings matching your filters.

  5. Let n8n wait until the data is ready

    • Bright Data takes about 1–3 minutes to prepare the dataset.

    • The Wait node and polling make sure n8n doesn’t move forward too soon.

  6. Filter listings by post date

    • Only job posts from the last 6 days are allowed through using an IF node.

  7. Clean and send data to Google Sheets

    • HTML is removed from descriptions.

    • Fields are flattened for a neat and readable spreadsheet.

  8. Use the sheet for outreach or job hunting

    • Job seekers: apply to roles fast.

    • Sales teams: reach out to companies hiring roles you support.

Make Money thru AI

How to Make Money by Selling AI-Generated Children’s Books on Amazon KDP

In this guide, you'll learn a step-by-step method to build and sell AI-generated children's books — like Sleepytime in the Jungle — using Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) platform. This is a growing niche, ideal for creators who want to blend storytelling, visuals, and automation. You can even use this strategy to softly promote a live example, like this author page, which is actively doing this.

Intro:

More parents are turning to bedtime books with soothing visuals and gentle stories. With AI, you can create these books at scale and sell them passively through Amazon KDP. Here's a breakdown on how to build an entire children's book brand from scratch.

1. Choose a Thematic Concept (e.g. Sleepy Animals A–Z)

  • Pick a niche: Think in terms of themes like “bedtime,” “alphabet learning,” “mindfulness,” or “animal adventures.”

  • Test the idea: Search Amazon KDP with filters for “Books > Children’s > Ages 0-5.” Look at what’s ranking and selling.

  • Example: A to Z animals in sleepy moments (like the giraffe, penguin, and fox in Sleepytime in the Jungle).

2. Use ChatGPT to Write the Story

  • Prompt idea: “Write a gentle bedtime story using animals A to Z, where each animal is doing a relaxing nighttime routine.”

  • Keep it simple: Target language for ages 2–5. Use short, rhythmic sentences with repetition.

  • Format structure: Title page, dedication, intro sentence, A-Z animal sections, closing sentence.

3. Generate Illustrations with AI Tools

  • Use Midjourney, DALL·E, or Leonardo.ai to create warm, dreamy illustrations.

  • Prompt example: “Illustration of a sleepy giraffe, penguin, and fox cuddling under stars, soft lighting, children's book style.”

  • Generate one image per page or animal. Ensure consistency in style.

4. Design the Book with Canva

  • Use Canva’s Book Template: Drag and drop your story and illustrations.

  • Page size: Use 8.5" x 8.5" for square children’s books.

  • Add Cover Page: Include the title, author (use pen name if needed), and a compelling image.

5. Upload to Amazon KDP

  • Visit https://kdp.amazon.com

  • Create an account and select “Paperback.”

  • Upload Files: Upload your print-ready PDF and cover.

  • Set your price (typically between $7.99–$12.99 depending on page count).

  • Keywords & Categories: Use terms like “bedtime book,” “children’s alphabet,” “animal sleep book.”

6. Promote Your Book Softly (with Partner Page Example)

  • Share your author page subtly to give inspiration:
👉 Explore this Amazon author page – a great real-life example of how these books are being successfully sold.

  • Create a matching Instagram or Pinterest profile with soft, cozy visuals from the book.

  • Offer a free printable coloring page to build an email list.

7. Rinse and Repeat to Scale

  • Create more themed books: Counting with Forest Friends, Ocean Bedtime Sounds, Mindful ABCs, etc.

  • Bundle books into series or create a “Sleepytime” collection.

  • Once traction builds, consider translating into multiple languages via ChatGPT.

Tools You’ll Need:

  • ChatGPT: Story generation

  • Midjourney / Leonardo.ai / DALL·E: Illustrations

  • Canva: Book layout and cover

  • Amazon KDP: Publishing and distribution

By following this strategy, you can build a passive income stream while creating cozy, AI-powered books that bring value to families. The demand is growing — and with consistency, this model can become a sustainable publishing business.
