🧠 This Chatbot Doesn’t Forget

A chatbot that recalls your tone, goals, and blind spots? ChatGPT’s new memory feature turns it into something eerily personal — like a mirror that talks back. It remembers what matters to you, suggests how to improve, and might just mentor you better than your manager.

And if you ever get stuck on how to uplift someone, the BRAVE Framework prompt trains ChatGPT to guide, encourage, and motivate like a thoughtful coach — not a generic assistant.

This week’s AI Toolbox is stacked:
• 🗣️ Yoodli gives real-time feedback on how you speak.
🧑‍💼 Hedy AI helps teams stay on track with live meeting insights.

Meanwhile, AI voice scams are fooling people into wiring money by mimicking loved ones.
Between smarter tools and smarter frauds, AI isn't just changing how we work — it's changing how we relate.

AI BREAKTHROUGH

ChatGPT Can Now Remember What You Say — And That Changes How You Use It

On April 10, OpenAI rolled out a new feature in ChatGPT that lets it remember things you’ve told it across different chats. It won’t just talk to you in the moment — it can bring up what you said earlier, like your name, your goals, or what kind of tone you like. This makes ChatGPT feel more like a real assistant that grows with you over time.

Snapshot
• ChatGPT now remembers things like your writing style, favorite topics, or how you like to be spoken to.
• You’ll see a note like “ChatGPT is remembering this” whenever it saves something.
• You can delete one memory or clear everything at once by going to Settings → Personalization → Manage Memory.
• There's also a Temporary Chat mode if you want to talk without saving anything.
• This feature is now live for most ChatGPT Plus users and will come to more accounts soon.

Simple Everyday Ways to Use This Memory Feature

  1. "Based on my past conversations, tell me my top 3 strengths and one blind spot."
→ ChatGPT can look at how you think, work, or write and give honest patterns you might not notice yourself.

  2. "From everything I've said, what’s one life-changing tip you'd give me?"
→ Whether it’s how you handle stress or talk about goals, ChatGPT can offer a clear, personal insight.

  3. "What goals have I shared with you before? Remind me."
→ You can quickly get a list of what you've said you care about — even if you forgot saying it.

  4. "Write this email in the tone I usually use."
→ If you've told it your tone once (formal, friendly, casual), it'll remember and apply it automatically.

  5. "What kind of topics do I talk about the most?"
→ Great for journaling, self-awareness, or even seeing what hobbies you keep returning to.

What is the underlying point?

This update quietly turns ChatGPT from a tool you use into something more like a mirror you talk to. It's not just answering your questions — it's learning who you are, how you think, and what matters to you. That means people can start having more honest conversations with themselves, not just the AI.

And here's the wild part: if it remembers your blind spots, it might help you grow faster than a human mentor could.

This shifts AI from being just smart — to being self-aware about you.
